Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Children and Two-Spirited Center for Healing....Prayer and Remembrance
The MMIWC2S Center for Healing…Prayer and Remembrance exhibits original art created by Indigenous Artists and others that support our cause. Art exhibited in the center reflects healing and honors the missing and murdered. A book of the MMIWC2S which we call the Red Book is placed in the space for viewing which contains the names of the thousands of MMIWC2S in the country. Red Dresses adorn the space in memory of those missing and murdered. An altar is available, where families can leave offerings such as sage, flowers, prayer bundles, sweet grass and other items. The MMIWC2S Center for Healing….Prayer and Remembrance is the first of its kind through-out the United States and Canada.
